Local Pennant Week 8 Results.

Mount Gambier Players had a very successful country carnival held in Adelaide over the June long weekend. Mount Gambier winning 2 shields over the weekend, with Steve Maynard, Brian Ling and Tim Pilven winning the B grade shild. While Anthony Gurry, Sarah Pilven and Alex Ling winning the C grade mixed shield.

The Surprise packet for the weekend was the form of young gun James Gurry in the Mount Gambier mens A team. The Mount Gambier mens A team came runner up to Great Southern with all 3 players from Mount Gambier getting a state country top ten ranking. James Gurry 2, Robert Attiwill 8 and Nigel Wittwer 9.
