Mount Gambier Table Tennis Club played their second round of matches last week. In A Grade, the McFords team of David Ford, Katrina McPhee and Andy McPharlin have jumped out to an early lead with 2 convincing wins.

State Umpire James Beal has returned from officiating at the Australian Junior Championships held at Gawler recently. As a result, James has been invited to umpire at next years Australian Junior, Senior and Veteran Championships.

In other club news, Graeme Shelton has completed his examinations and training and is now an accredited coach. He is now setting up a junior coaching programme to start in the new year.
