Summer Season Final Results.

Mount Gambier Table Tennis club held its finals last week. In division one of competition the undefeated team batmen were knocked off in a very close finish. Alex Young came to the party on the night to lead his team to victory with good performances in his singles.

Division two was also a very close encounter with the top team being knocked off as well, this was down to the wire table tennis. Scott Davies was the stand out performer again with three big strait game wins on the night.

Division three was the battle of the improving junior players at the club. Nathan Schubert was the star player on the night winning all of his matches. In the end the depth of players was the key with BBM taking out the win.

Division 1 Final:

A killer win ( Alex Young, Kane Stuckey & Will Newlyn ) def Batmen ( Josh Jantosh, Steve Maynard & Murray Till ) 6/5.

Three game winners: Alex Young.

Two game winners: Josh Jantosh, Steve Maynard.

Division 2 Final:

Steelers ( Scott Davies, Peter Edwards & Marga Steele ) def Team Awesome ( Bernie Crute, Riley Glynn & James Axton ) 6/5.

Three game winners: Steve Davies.

Two game winners: James Axton, Peter Edwards.

Division 3 Final:

BBM ( Ben Thiel, Brad Saffin & Maddie McGregor ) def Cubik Rubes ( Nathan Schubert, Tracey Hutchinson & Connor Clarke ) 7/4.

Two game winners: Ben Thiel, Brad Saffin, Maddie McGregor.
