TENNIS.
The Winter Season came to an end last week with finals
in all grades.
The A grade final saw an upset
with the Class Act team of Nigel Wittwer, Garry Fox,
Kane Stuckey and Ken Bierwirth scoring a runaway 7-2
victory over minor premiers Top Stuff. Stuckey being the star turn for Class
Act, with an unbeaten performance.
In B1 grade, the Drovers team of Peter, Robert and
Paul Cotton just scraped home with a 6-5 win over Too Good. Brian Ling winning
3 singles for Too Good.
The B2 grade final saw the Monsters team of Coehen
Keppels, Tyrone Pilven and
Jordan Aston prove too strong for the Crowroocollies
with an 8-3 victory. Coehen Keppels leading the way winning 3
singles.
The Junior Novice grade final was a triumph for the Team 4 combination of
Richard Pearson, Phoebe Aston and Harry Newell, defeating Team 1 by a 7-2 scoreline. All players played well.
